Welcome to Poly318.com
a not-for-profit website dedicated to 1956 – 1967 Plymouth, Chrysler, and Dodge A-block polyspherical-head car, truck, marine, and industrial engines including the poly 277, 301, 303, 313, 318, and 326. Because LA 273, 318, 340, and 360 engines were developed based on the A-block platform, many of the technical articles are applicable.
You may access different pages using the top accordion menu including history, identification, specifications, free service manuals, parts information, marine applications, engine building, and many technical articles. I also built in a search function to find your specific topic. The site is an evolving project as I add information, write articles, and continue work on my own projects. Please note that the website’s content is intended to record and share how I perform work and that by using the website you agree to the liability and copyright policy.
Along with information about the poly A-block, I have a section for my A-block 390 stroker powered 1956 Dodge coupe hot rod build that might interest those with 1955 – 1956 Dodge, Plymouth, and other Forward Look cars.
Technical Video Series
I produce different technical videos pertaining to poly A-blocks and share them on my YouTube channel @Poly318. The videos can be found throughout the website on applicable pages including an engine rebuilding series for my A-block 390 stroker. If you appreciate them, please like, share, and subscribe to my YouTube channel.
