Introduction:

To assist those looking for free factory service manual PDFs for their poly A-block engines, carburetors, PowerFlite and TorqueFlite transmissions, accessories, and other components, I have edited factory service manuals to combine them and remove vehicle and drivetrain content unrelated to the A-block. I was able to delete some sections entirely, and other sections I redacted for ease of reading where content crossed over into 6-cylinder, B-block, and RB-block content. I include multiple manuals for Carter, Stromberg, and Holley carburetors that span 1956 – 1967. I also purchased a rare 1962 marine poly A318 factory service manual and a poly A318 industrial manual and scanned them into PDFs. I also provide an interesting 1963 competition called “Return to Riverside” that provides quarter-mile, road course, and other results for an A318-powered Plymouth Fury. All content from the manuals is public domain as historical documents with no valid copyright protections, and they are legally free to download and share. Hard-copy manuals may be purchased through multiple marketplaces including Amazon and ebay for those who prefer paper.

1956 – 1961 Poly 277, 301, 303, 313, 318, and 326 Engine Service Manual

I started with a clean copy of a 1960 Dodge factory service manual, removed vehicle and drivetrain sections, and removed or redacted the sections related to 6-cylinder, B-block, and RB-block engines. After I reviewed 1956 – 1961 factory service manuals, I found the 1960 to be the most detailed. However, the 1956 – 1961 manuals are greatly lacking in important details that are included in the expanded 1962 – 1967 manuals. For those working on 1956 – 1961 A-blocks, I recommend reading both this manual alongside the 1962 – 1967 manual as a supplemental.

1962 – 1967 Poly 313 and 318 Engine Service Manual

I started with a clean copy of a 1965 Plymouth factory service manual, removed vehicle and drivetrain sections, and removed or redacted the sections related to 6-cylinder, B-block, and RB-block engines.

1959 – 1967 Poly 318 Marine Service Manual (also covers B-383, RB-413)

I purchased and scanned into a PDF a clean copy of a rare 1962 marine factory service manual. Because the manual is harder to find, I chose to scan it in its entirety including the sections for B-383 and RB-413 marine engines.

I found a copy of a circa 1963 marine factory owners operating manual. Most of the information in it comes from the factory service manual above but is abbreviated for quicker reference. There are some interesting photos and information worth looking at along with the service manual.
